Modern Ways of Ventilation
Pressure Controlled | Pressure Support | High-Flow Therapy
LAVI is used for intermittent pressure-controlled ventilation of patients and is intended for invasive and non-invasive ventilation. The device is suitable for use in adults and children with a breathing volume of 100 ml or more and can be used in clinical as well as domestic environments.
Features:
More than whispering:
The (HST) Technology enablesfor whisper-quiet operation of the high-performance turbine even at maximum flow. Thus, non-disturbing therapy is possible even at night. Precise flow and pressure triggers respond to patient needs in the shortest possible time, enabling the best possible adaptation and rapid synchronization.
Lightweight and compact
The design of LAVI is not only elegant but also extremely compact, with a weight of only 2.2 kg. The optionally available functional bag allows easy fixation on a wheelchair or use as a backpack. It protects the device from weathering, shocks and shocks during operation. It also offers space for the (additional) optional external battery pack.
Independent
The internal battery with up to 4 hours of operation is easy to change. In combination with our AKKUPACK uni, up to 20 hours of autonomy are possible.
Simple and intelligent operation
LAVI is characterized by simple and intelligent operation. Especially due to the flat menu structure, the desired function can be called up effortlessly. Navigating within the menus is done using the multifunction button and the three soft keys.
Ventilation modes:
LAVI 30: PCV / APCV* / PSV* / PSV-S* / CPAP LAVI 40: PCV / APCV / PSV / PSV-S / P-SIMV / CPAP

CARAT I PRO
The CARAT I pro is used for the ventilation of patients who are not yet completely dependent on mechanical ventilation. The device is suitable for the care of adults as well as children with a breathing volume of 50 ml. CARAT I pro has been specially developed for use in the home sector, but is also suitable for use in the hospital area.
Optionally pressure- or volume-controlled ventilation is ensured by setting the following ventilation modes:
A PCV – (Assisted) Pressure Controlled Ventilation Pressure Controlled Ventilation / Pressure Controlled Assisted Ventilation PSV – Pressure Supported Ventilation Pressure-assisted ventilation SIMV – Synchronous Intermittent Mandatory Ventilation Synchronized Intermittent Mandate Ventilation A VCV – (Assisted) Volume Controlled Ventilation Volume Controlled Ventilation/Volume-Controlled Assisted Ventilation.
The ventilation can be carried out both invasively (e.B. via a tracheostoma) and non-invasive (via a breathing mask). CARAT I pro is operated with a single hose system. The device can be connected to a low-pressure gas source (up to 15 l/min O2) for ventilation with increased oxygen concentration. It is also possible to combine CARAT I pro with a humidifier.
CARAT I pro is a medical device and may only be used on prescription and under the responsibility of a doctor.
CARAT II PRO
The CARAT II pro is used for continuous or intermittent ventilation of patients. The device is suitable for the care of adults as well as children with a breathing volume of 50 ml. CARAT II pro has been specially developed for use in the home sector, but is also suitable for use in the hospital area.
