Caldesmon

Caldesmon is a smooth muscle regulatory protein that can interact with actin, myosin, tropomyosin, and calmodulin, and can be used as a marker for epithelioid mesotheliomas. This antibody can be used to distinguish myofibroblastic tumors of smooth muscle, uterine leiomyomas, and endometrial stromal tumors.
