CD56

CD56 is a cell adhesion molecule. This antibody plays an important role in the diagnosis of lymph node and nasal NK/ T-cell lymphoma and also recognizes two proteins of the neural cell adhesion molecule, which is an essential molecule expressed on most neuroectodermal derived tissues and tumors, such as retinoblastoma, medulloblastoma, astrocytoma, neuroblastoma, and small-cell carcinoma.
