Terminal Deoxyribonucleotidyl Transferase (TdT)

TdT is a nuclear polymerase expressed in normal thymic cortical cells and blast lymphocytes but not in mature T or B lymphocytes. It is mainly used in the diagnosis of acute T cell leukemia /T lymphoblastic lymphoma, acute B cell leukemia /B lymphoblastic lymphoma, and type B thymoma.
