Villin

Villin is a 95KDa cytoskeletal protein normally expressed in the intestinal epithelium and renal proximal tubular epithelium. It can be used for the differential diagnosis of intestinal and non-intestinal epithelial tumors, and also as a reference parameter for the diagnosis of gastrointestinal neuroendocrine tumors.
