CD99 is a 27 to 32 kDa glycoprotein, also known as the MIC2 gene product or E2 antigen, expressed on most islet cells, testicular Sertoli cells, and some endothelial cells. This antibody can be used to identify Evern's sarcoma cells and primitive peripheral neuroectodermal tumors.
