Neurofilament (NF)

NF neurofilament protein is a neuron-specific intermediate filament protein composed of three subunits. It is expressed in neurons, axons, neuroblastoma, ganglioglioma, medulloblastoma and other tissues of the central and peripheral nervous system. It is mainly used in the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of neuroblastoma and pheochromocytoma.
