Carcinoembryonic Antigen (CEA)

CEA, a 180KDa glycoprotein, is mainly expressed in the epithelial tissue of fetal digestive tract, but only a small amount is expressed in normal adult epithelial tissues and benign tumors. It is mainly used to label epithelial tumors, especially adenocarcinoma of glandular epithelium.
